I could not say more great things about Dr Shanks office! My wisdom teeth extraction was the best medical experience I’ve ever had. The staff were so patient, gentle, and understanding every step of the way. The actual prep, surgery, and post op process was a walk in the park after being so nervous leading up to it. Even the IV was the best job ever! Getting a personal call from Dr Shanks the day after the procedure was a really nice gesture. After recovery, when I felt more pain in my jaw, I called just to get a check up to ease my mind of no infections. They got me in within 30 minutes the day of because they didn’t want me to be in pain all weekend. Their attention to my care and well being is so refreshing. I recommend Dr Shanks to everyone now and help eliminate the horror stories behind wisdom teeth extractions! Thank you Dr Shanks and your wonderful team!

Very nice employees. Clean office. The only thing is they have a Knoxville and Maryville office so my appointment was moved to Knoxville. It made it an inconvenience but not doable. Still going to get two teeth removed soon. I trust the Doctor Shanks.

They got me in quickly and were very clear explaining the procedure to me. They told me to rest for about 5 days after wisdom tooth extraction due to my age. Im a bit sore on day two but swelling has gone down considerably and they got me suitable meds. I think they made everything go smoothly :]
