Dr. Shanks and all of the staff are very friendly and answered all of my questions. They put me at ease and scheduled my upcoming surgery for less than two weeks out which I appreciate. The office in Knoxville is beautiful and easy to get to which is a big plus. The front desk employees in particular were very friendly and knowledgeable and spent the time to go over the financial details relating to my surgery. They even provided literature about what to expect both at the time of my surgery and afterward which helped put my mind at ease.

Everyone was nice in Dr. Shanks office. They did call the day before and ask me to come an hour earlier. I was able to oblige, but I ended up waiting beyond that time after all! I'd go back there if I needed an oral surgeon again.
